Abstract

A new generalized family of distributions called the Type II-Topp-Leone-Gompertz-G (TII-TL-Gom-G) distribution is developed. We present some special cases of the introduced family of distributions. Various statistical properties of the new family of distributions were derived. Maximum likelihood estimates for the proposed family of models were obtained. A simulation study is carried out to evaluate the consistency of the maximum likelihood estimates. Two real data examples are used to demonstrate the usefulness of the new family of models.
